Who we are

Tales of Your Tail (talesofyourtail.uk) is run by Mr R Shriegal in London, UK. You can reach us through our contact page or by email at help@talesofyourtail.uk. Payments are processed by Stripe, and your purchase is sold to you through Link, which handles VAT. Your card statement will show LINK.COM.

Your account

You need an account to make cartoons and stories. Keep your password safe; you're responsible for what happens in your account. Every account gets 3 free tries: each try makes one cartoon of your pet and the free first page of its story.

What you can buy

All prices are in pounds and include VAT.

• Digital story, £9.99 (£6.99 launch price until 29 November 2026): unlocks all 12 pages of one story, yours to read and download as a PDF.
• 3-story bundle, £24.99: unlocks 3 of your stories, used whenever you like.
• Story of the Month, £7.99 a month: one new full story each billing month. It renews every month until you cancel. Cancel any time from your account; you keep access until the end of the month you've paid for. Unused months don't roll over.
• Lifetime Story of the Month, £79 once: one new full story each calendar month (UK time), for as long as Tales of Your Tail runs, with nothing more to pay. Only 100 are sold. Unused months don't roll over. It belongs to your account and can't be transferred.

Memorial stories can be bought as a Digital story or with a bundle; memberships aren't offered on them.

Cancelling and refunds

Stories are digital content that we unlock for you straight away. When you buy, you agree to that, and you accept that you lose the usual 14-day right to cancel once your story is unlocked. This doesn't affect your other legal rights: if a story is faulty or isn't as described (for example, pictures won't draw), contact us and we'll fix it, redo it or refund you.

• Digital stories and bundles: no refunds once a story is unlocked, apart from faults.
• Story of the Month: cancel any time to stop future payments. We don't refund a month that has already started.
• Lifetime Story of the Month: you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of buying, as long as you've made no more than your first story with it. After a refund, the membership ends and any story it unlocked is locked again. After 14 days, or once you've made a second story, it can't be refunded, apart from faults.

To ask for a refund, contact us with the email address on your account.

Your photos and stories

Only upload photos you took or have permission to use. You keep the rights to your photos. We use them only to make your cartoon and story. Your finished stories are for your own personal use, including printing and sharing with family and friends, but not for selling.

Pictures and text are made with artificial intelligence, so each story is unique and may not look exactly like your pet. If a picture looks wrong, contact us and we'll redraw it.

Fair use

Please don't misuse the site: no uploading anything illegal or offensive, no trying to get around payments or free-try limits, and no automated use. We may close accounts that do.

If something goes wrong

We work hard to keep the site running but can't promise it will always be available. We aren't responsible for losses we couldn't reasonably have foreseen. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility where the law doesn't allow it to be limited.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the version shown when you buy applies to that purchase. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and you can bring a claim in the courts where you live in the UK.
